&34;Fantastic&34; is a Cantonese song sung by Eason Chan. It was written by Huang Weiwen and composed and arranged by C.Y.Kong. It was included in Eason Chan&39;s Cantonese album &34;U87&34; released by Universal Music on June 7, 2005. [1] The song is one of Eason Chan&39;s masterpieces.
&34;Exaggerated&34; won the 2005 CASH Golden Sail Music Awards for Best Melody and Best Lyrics.
The song titled &34;Puffing Up&34; was originally called &34;Depression&34;. It was written by Hong Kong composer Jiang Zhiren (CYKong) on April 1, 2003, after hearing the death of his friend’s brother Leslie Cheung in London, expressing his grief at the loss of his friend and hearing the news. Shi was shocked and puzzled at his brother&39;s choice to leave. Later, Eason selected this song on the disc, and once planned to write the lyrics himself to express his thoughts about his brother. This was the only time Eason Chan wanted to write the lyrics himself. But in the end, he still couldn&39;t write the lyrics to his satisfaction, and finally handed the task to Huang Weiwen. And Huang Weiwen changed the story in the poem from mourning for his elder brother to the cry of an unscrupulous little person.
The song &34;Bag&34; has a particularly simple and easy-to-remember musical element. Using the simplest three harmony of Em, D, and C, driven by a 6/8-beat rock rhythm, plus a tone that imitates the Theremin Tremen produced in 1928, the melody itself is occasionally slightly classical The color and the harmony of a retro piano are very similar to the style of British Art Rock in the 1970s.
With the mentality of a petty person, &34;Puffing up&34; portrays that the little person is not valued, who is ordinary for a lifetime but thinks about the extraordinary, but there is nowhere to let one be cared. The more bitter, the more sad, the more depressed, from grievance to resentment. Image. Huang Weiwen&39;s words describe a person&39;s state of mind, and those scenes full of gloom, with evil spirits everywhere. As soon as this song came out, countless people wondered who he wanted to write. In fact, the song &34;Blame&34; is more of a satire. It is a satire of this oppressive society. There are not many lucky ones, if you haven&39;t been, you know why.
In general, this song is very classic. The reputation of this song is fully worthy of the praise of fans and friends, and it has indeed been widely recognized in the music world.
